Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 July 2026. This policy is pending final legal review before public launch.
What we collect
When you create an account we store your name and email address through our identity provider, Clerk. When you purchase a course we collect the contact and address details required by our payment provider, PayHere, and keep a record of your orders and payments. While you study we store your lesson progress and video positions so you can resume where you left off.
How we use it
Your data is used only to operate Declode: processing purchases, granting course access, sending purchase confirmation emails, and responding to support requests. We do not sell personal data or use it for third-party advertising.
Who processes it
We rely on a small set of processors to run the service: Clerk (sign-in), PayHere (payments), Supabase (database), Mux (video), Cloudflare (file storage), Resend (email), Vercel (hosting), and Axiom (error monitoring). Card details are entered on PayHere's secure pages and never touch Declode's servers.
Retention and deletion
You can request account deletion through the support form. We remove your profile and learning data and disable your sign-in, while retaining order, payment, refund, and audit records in pseudonymized form where the law requires financial record-keeping.
Contact
Privacy questions can be sent through the support form.
